The Sweetest Love Story..Disguised as a Children's Movie

This weekend I went to go see the movie Up. I fell in love with Pixar movies first by Toy Story,  and always find it amazing that they can make a movie which is not only fun for children, teenagers, and adults. Up was no different..

Up is the story of 78 year old ballon salesman Carl Fredricksen, who is determined to finish the life long dream of his deceased wife Ellie. The story centers on Carl's journey to bring his and Ellie's home to South America just as she had always wanted. The adventure focuses on the relationship between Carl and his stowaway; Russell, a 8 year old Wilderness Explorer (the cutest kid ever).

The relationship between the two was endearing and heartfelt and full of laughs.  But the relationship I loved the most was the realtionship between Carl and his wife Ellie. The two meet when they were just children and although they were very different, Ellie never shuts up and Carl doesn't say two peeps, they found a happiness together and Carl always strove to make her happy.

During the movie I cried and laughed. The relationship of Carl and Ellie struck me so much, Carl was so in love with his wife he flew to the end of the earth via a few thousand helium balloons to carry out her dream. If we could all just find a man who loves us like Carl loved Ellie life would be complete.
