My Favorite Fashion Moments in Movies

After watching so many movies and becoming inspired by the fashion in them I decided to make a list of my favorite fashion moments (too many of them include Audrey but what can I say she was perfection). Here is a look at the beauty that inspires me.

Movie: Sabrina (1954)
Staring: Ms. Hepburn, Bogie and William Holden
Fashion Moment: Okay there are too many to choice from in this classic movie, the first pairing of Hepburn and Givenchy. If I had to choose it would between these two. One when the lovely and gawky Ms. Fairchild returns from Paris a sophisticated woman in a chic suit carrying a tiny dog, Paris Hilton eat your heart out.

And finally the simplicity of Audrey. Sabrina and Linus go boating and the outfit Sabrina wears is an inspiration and I have to say I copy this endlessly in the summer.

Movie: Gigi (1958)
Staring: Leslie Caron and Louis Jourdan
Fashion Moment: When Gigi turns into a woman and goes out with Gaston in a gorgeous white gown.

Movie: My Fair Lady (1964)
Starring: Audrey Hepburn, Rex Harrison
Fashion Moment: The new and improved Eliza Doolittle is introduced in a beautiful gown.

Movie: Moulin Rouge! (2001)
Starring: Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor
Fashion Moment: Satine emerges on the roof of the Elephant in a red gown to be envied. The song is pretty amazing too.

Movie:Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)
Starring: Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson
Fashion Moment: When Hermione descends the stairs to come to the ball with no frizzy hair and a gown to die for. It makes my geeky heart melt.

Movie: Sex and the City: The Movie (2008)
Starring: Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Catral and Kristen Davis
Fashion Moment: Carrie's wedding, the scene sums of SATC fashion.

Movie: Breakfast at Tiffany's (1961)
Starring: Audrey Hepburn and George Pepard
Fashion Moment(s): The little black dress seen around the world as Holly Golightly eats a danish in front of Tiffanys.

Secondly the outfit Holly "throws" together to go to Sing-sing

Movie: How to Steal a Million (1966)
Starring: Audrey Hepburn and Peter O'Toole
Fashion Moment: Audrey's character meets Peter's at a hotel restaurant her outfit and makeup are only something Audrey and Givenchy would do.
